What can I expect from health coaching sessions?

During our sessions, we will explore various aspects of your life, including your physical and mental health, lifestyle, habits, work, and relationships—all of which impact your overall well-being. I will actively listen, ask insightful questions, and we'll explore personalised tools and strategies to address your unique needs.

Please note that health coaching is not about quick fixes or miraculous cures. Achieving lasting transformation requires ongoing effort, time, and commitment. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment as we work together towards your long-term health goals.

How does the coaching process work?

The process begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation, where we’ll discuss your needs and determine if we’re a good fit to work together. There’s no obligation to decide or book further sessions during this initial meeting. I encourage you to take your time to think and assess whether this approach aligns with your goals before committing.

If we both feel confident moving forward, we’ll then schedule our coaching sessions. In the first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your health background, habits, and any existing conditions—so I can personalise my approach in our subsequent sessions.

How long does coaching typically last?

Achieving lasting health and well-being is an ongoing process that requires time and commitment. The number of health coaching sessions you need will depend on your own unique circumstances. We begin with a block of 3 sessions of 60 min each, review at the end and decide further. We conduct collaborative reviews every 3 sessions and so that you can make an informed decision about what is optimal for you. For some clients, long-term coaching provides invaluable support in maintaining and enhancing their health.

Visit the Services page for more details.

How often will we meet?

The frequency of our sessions will be tailored to your needs and preferences. We can schedule sessions on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on what works best for you. Often, starting with more frequent sessions can be beneficial for initial progress, and then we can adjust the frequency as needed.

Will health coaching replace my need for medical treatment?

Health coaching is not a substitute for medical care. Instead, it complements traditional medical treatment by supporting your overall health and well-being. These sessions are intended to work alongside, not replace, your existing medical treatments and advice. If you have specific medical concerns or conditions, it's important to continue following the recommendations of your healthcare provider.
